PC-1 with sliding "T" handles

The original Conant Planking Clamp, appropriate for most boats between 20' and 40' in length. Ditch the block and wedges for the edge-setting tool that makes it easy to achieve a tight seam every time!

Rib Depth Range: 0-2"
Plank Thickness Range: 5/8" or greater

Features:
• Sturdy ductile iron casting stands up to shop abuse
• Angled jack screw follows curvature of the frame
• Included poplar pad protects planks from dents
• Anti-slip surface prevents the clamp from sliding on the frame
• Coarse acme threaded screws move 1” in seven revolutions
• Sliding "T" handle on both screws

Suggestions:
• Please note that the use of a c-clamp is still recommended for holding the plank to the frame while drilling and fastening.
• Although any number of clamps will be helpful, we recommend three or more. That way, you can edge set the plank along a few frames at once.
